My approach is not theoretical or general, but practical and hands-on for your business or practice.

But if what you want most is a major breakthrough or change in your business, I'll challenge and support you in what you need to do to make it happen. I will encourage you to go for what you really want.

You not only get the benefit of Dan Grandstaff's coaching and the group's input, but you will be encouraged to team up with a specific “buddy coach” for additional peer coaching and support.
When you work with me you can expect results, if you participate and do the work. For most participants, that means getting more of the things done that really matter. If your focus is on Spreading the Word About What You Do, you'll succeed in doing the things that attract more clients, build a network, and grow the business. If your focus is on getting better results by improving your communication, you'll do just that for the projects that matter most. For most of our clients, the results are also that they work smarter with less stress, enjoy their work more than ever, and take more time for other people and activities they enjoy.
Your approach to business must fit who you are. If you are trying to do something that really doesn't match you, your temperament, and your values, it will not work. We never try to push anything on our clients. Rather, we seek to draw from them the best that is in them, so that they can do their best in serving others and find fulfillment in doing it.
We all need challenge, change, and growth —and we often resist it. Most of us try to stay in a “comfort zone” that often has shrunk to an “uncomfortably” small size. One of our tasks in life is to test and expand our comfort zones so that we have more room to grow and thrive. One of my roles as a business coach is to challenge and encourage you to expand what you are comfortable doing. But I intend always to do it in a safe, encouraging, non-judgmental, and ‘the choice is always yours” kind of way.
We are each responsible for our own choices. Even though we're all dealt very different hands in life, we are each responsible for how we play them. Most of us, me included, make plenty of mistakes. But I believe our task is to make the best choices we can. The more we quit blaming anyone, including ourselves, and asking ourselves, “What's the best choice I can make now?” the better our life will be. This applies to our business life as well. As a business coach, I try to live by this and encourage my clients to life by it too.
